Colts Face Atlanta Falcons in Berlin – NFL Week 10

Hello, fussball enthusiasts. Wie gehts? Everything good I trust on this fine morning kickoff to the tenth week coming directly from Deutschland. Berlin's Olympic Stadium to be exact where at 8.30am CST/9.30am EST and 2.30pm GMT the mighty Colts (7-2) face off against the Falcons (3-5). This marks the fifth matchup played on soil in Germany and the initial in the capital city.

Pre-match Highlights

When it comes to glittering attire that is an absolute belter from Katarina Witt on the coin toss. A minor slip from Sky Sports there as we hear “who won the toss?” from the commentator with an unfortunately hot mic.

So, the coin toss went to Indianapolis and have elected to receive. Daniel Jones and company will be setting up shortly. Can the quarterback recover after a difficult performance in Pittsburgh?

In a similar vein the singer belting out the Star Spangled Banner has some of the biggest shoulder embellishments you are ever likely to see. Loving the sartorial choices today. We are almost underway after a choral number for the national anthem of Germany. Elegant.

Opening Period Action

Colts 0-0 Falcons 13:30, 1st quarter

Here we go! And we have early drama after Jonathan Taylor receives a short throw, gains 15 yards on the outside to the right then loses the ball … only for his center to recover the fumble with the ball retrieval. Colts are in Falcons territory already.

Colts 0-0 Falcons 10:51, 1st quarter

And the excitement continues as the Colts go for it on 4th down. The gamble fails to pay off as Josh Downs fails to catch a fastball from the quarterback. Prior to the failed attempt the Falcons defender put a huge hit on the Colts' tight end. Atlanta's defense started strong as they try and snap their string of three losses. Next up Sauce Garner’s debut!

Touchdown Recap

TOUCHDOWN! Colts 6-0 Falcons 8:36, 1st quarter

Did Kyle Pitts just drop a touchdown? The Falcons player makes a crucial error, he was very open but the ball just swishes through his hands. That moment reflects the first round pick’s career to date.

So far, so disappointing but it only deteriorates for the Atlanta as they cough the ball back to the Colts on the 23-yard line. The Falcons quarterback is hunted down and can’t keep hold of the ball.

A nifty 22-yard run from the Colts receiver sets the running back up to roll in for the score on the following play. Kicker Michael Badgley misses the point after attempt. Oops.

Falcons respond: 6-7 at 6:07

Penix Jr puts the fumble behind him by marching his Falcons down the field for a score of their own. Drake London makes some substantial catches to put them in the scoring area then the defense opens up for the running back to run untouched into the end zone through the middle of the defense for a 13-yard gain. He completes the drive for a short scoring run of his own. Advantage Atlanta.

Other Tenth Week Games

Additionally, the jumbo package starting at 1 PM EST and 6 PM GMT (home teams listed first) is as follows:
